Nechako Valley Wellness (NVW) is thrilled and thankful to be open again during the Covid-19 pandemic, offering you a modified clinic experience for your health and safety. We have implemented several policies and procedures to meet or exceed public health requirements in order to remain open and provide you with quality health care.

Our environmental safety measures include enhanced and diligent cleaning protocols,
physical changes within the clinic such as removal of non-essential items, porous items and waiting room chairs, installing transparent reception barriers and posting informative signage.

Our personal safety measures include daily self-assessments by all practitioners and staff, who are required to remain at home if they have any symptoms of illness. Diligent hand washing and hand sanitizing, and strict use of PPE including masks at all times while inside the clinic (gloves and eye protection are optional). All practitioners and staff must understand, adhere to and remain current with NVW clinic policies and procedures regarding Covid-19.

Our administrative safety measures include reduced practitioner schedules and staggered appointment times to promote physical distancing. The front door will remain locked to control patient traffic. Patients are asked to arrive on time and alone (when possible), and remain in their vehicle or outside until their appointment time.

Patients will be asked a Covid-19 pre-screening questionnaire at the door and instructed to follow all clinic protocols (sanitize hands, wear a mask). Please remain at home and call the clinic to reschedule your appointment if you have any symptoms of illness, have travelled outside of BC in the last 14 days, or have had close contact with anyone feeling ill or having a confirmed case of Covid-19.
